We’re back playing again after a couple of months off over Christmas and New Year. After two great fun sets - first with the Bondi Cigars at the Perth Blues Club, and then at the Araluen “Blues in the Night” gig, the team is charged up for 2007. Come see us at the WAMi Festival or at The Yanchep Park Blues. Check out the Gigs page for details.

Stingray Rocks SWBC

September 5th, 2006

There is a great new blues club in WA - the South West Blues Club, Bunbury. Stingray would like to thank the club and the 300 strong crowd who made it out to see the band on Saturday. A great time was had by all. A big shout out to the house band Home Brew - it was lots a fun sharing the bill with you! See ya next time.

August 23rd, 2006

Well music lovers, the Stingers have interrupted hybernation to venture forth and play some gigs. Thanks all who showed at the Perth Blues Club last week, and cheers to Ben Witt for sitting in with us for a few - some good axe playing was enjoyed by all! The ‘Rays hit the highway this Friday, Aug 25, and sting into action at The Rockingham Hotel - Hame and Kat open proceedings duo style and then the band dons the full electric jacket at 10:30pm. If you’re lucky there may be a preview of some new material!

June 11th, 2006

Though not typical behaviour for their marine-dwelling namesake, Stingray have been hybernating somewhat as the days have been getting cooler. Alas, the band has not been totally inactive, with songs for the next studio offering starting to take shape. It’s safe to say that the new material is indicative of an evolving band. Be excited and stay tuned!

Indi Bar Lounge Room

April 16th, 2006

A big shout out to all the cheery crew who made it down to the Indi Bar gig last night. We had an awesome time! The Indi is fast becoming our favourite place to play - there’s something about that room, it just sounds good and feels great … almost like playing in your own lounge room. Hope all the ounters enjoyed the show, we’ll see you next time.
